Federal Money for Lake Delton and Vernon County

The U.S. Department of Agriculture Natural Resources Conservation Service announced Monday that it will provide $160,000 in funds to assist the village of Lake Delton in emergency actions as a result of the Lake Delton breach.
Work will begin Monday to redirect the flow into the original channel to prevent further cutting in the breach and stop further erosion of the banks.
NRCS has also secured $370,000 to help Vernon County with emergency watershed repairs.
