SHEBOYGAN, Wis. (AP) -- Two off-duty Sheboygan police officers have been arrested on suspicion of OWI.

The two were arrested early Thursday after a two-car crash.

In a news release, the Sheboygan Police Department says the crash happened when one driver rear-ended the other, who was stopped at a blinking red light.

According to the arrest log, one officer's preliminary blood alcohol content was 0.10 percent and the other's was 0.23 percent. The legal limit for driving in Wisconsin is 0.08 percent.

Sheboygan Press Media (http://shebpr.es/1cr1JVD ) reports both officers were off duty and driving their personal vehicles at the time of the crash. No other vehicles were involved and the only occupants were the officers. No one was hurt.

The police department will conduct an internal investigation.
