Crews worked to put flames out in a home on Eau Claire's south side.
Eau Claire firefighters say it happened in the 1900 block of Valmont just after six o'clock Monday night.
Firefighters say when they arrived, there were flames and smoke shooting out of a second floor window.
The four people who were inside the home all got out safely and no one was hurt. One person was treated for smoke inhalation at the scene.
Firefighters say the fire may have started in a second floor bedroom, but they are still looking for the cause of the fire.
