2013 good year for development in Eau Claire

EAU CLAIRE, Wis. (WEAU)- The City of Eau Claire says it’s had one of its best years ever for development.

The city says in 2013 building permit evaluations came to a total of $150-million, that's the fifth best for the city.

The top three projects for 2013 include upgrades to the city wastewater plant, Sacred Heart Hospital and the new JAMF Software office.

Residential development also saw strong increases. The city says development valuations came in at $41.4 million this year in comparison to $35.8 million the year before.
