People who want to speak out on a possible smoking ban in the city of Chippewa Falls have the chance Thursday night.
A city committee on public safety will hold a public hearing at 6:30 Tuesday night in the assembly room of city hall.
Committee Chair Jack Covill says the hearing will discuss private and public smoking issues within the city. He says since there is no specific proposal on the table, the discussion will be broad.
He says the committee can make a recommendation to the city council after tonight's hearing.
