Avery Back in Court this Afternoon
Steven Avery will be back in court later today for his preliminary hearing.
He faces charges of first-degree intentional homicide, mutilation and possession of a firearm by a felon.
Avery is accused of killing and burning 25-year-old Teresa Halbach after she stopped at his family's salvage yard on Halloween to photograph a minivan they had for sale.
Avery was convicted of rape in 1985 and got out of prison two years ago after DNA testing proved another man committed the crime.
Ironically, DNA evidence led to Avery's arrest.
