A 78-year-old Stone Lake woman is dead after she turned her vehicle into on-coming traffic.

State Patrol troopers say just before 6pm Saturday night, the woman was heading north on Highway 27 near Stone Lake when she turned in front of an SUV heading south.

Troopers say the 16-year-old driving the SUV was not injured, but his 52-year-old passenger was and she was taken to Hayward Hospital.

Their names haven't been released.
