Everest Metro Police Chief Dan Vergin says a man and a woman found dead in a Weston mobile home park had lived together for years and were victims of a murder-suicide.
Vergin says the bodies of 50-year-old Diane Goulet and 43-year-old Scott Nells were found in their home Sunday night by Goulet's nephew.
The chief says autopsies determined that Goulet died of multiple stab wounds and Nells died of knife wounds consistent with suicide. He says a kitchen knife was found at the scene.
Police continue to investigate the killings.
Vergin says the couple had no history of domestic violence with his agency.
Weston is located just outside of Wausau.
