Next Christmas, there's an easy gift option for college students.
Governor Jim Doyle plans to sign a bill into law in early 2006 that would let the UW System start selling tuition gift certificates.
The certificates could be issued for any amount and be used at any system campus.
They'd be valid for two years, unless the holder is called into military service.
Assemblyman Rob Kreibich says the program could make college more affordable.
