Fitzgerald Given Probation
The man who drove his mini van into Franciscan Skemp in La Crosse in 2006 was sentenced to three years of probation Monday.

52 year old Geoffrey Fitzgerald of Iowa was also ordered to pay almost $200,000 in restitution. He pleaded no contest.
Records show Fitzgerald was in a rage when he crashed the mini van and barricaded himself inside. He claims a doctor refused to test him for HIV in 1998. Seven years later, he tested positive for the disease. A malpractice suit against the doctor was dismissed
