Bishop To Meet With Parishioners Of Hudson Church In Connection With Slayings

A Catholice church bishop has agreed to meet with parishioners at a Hudson church this month to talk about the late Reverend Ryan Erickson.

Bishop Raphael Fliss of the Superior Diocese will visit St. Patrick's Catholic Church January 15th to meet for the first time with parish regarding Erickson.

St. Patrick's Pastor John Parr says there will also be three private meetings with Fliss and several parish leaders.

Erickson hanged himself about a year ago after being questioned about the fatal shootings of a Hudson funeral home owner and his intern.

Some church members have publicly wondered whether the killings could have been prevented had the diocese acted when parishioners complained about Erickson over his behavior.
