Milwaukee DA Looking At Charges In Mob Beating Of Man

A prosecutor is reviewing possible charges in the brutal mob beating that left a man near death in Milwaukee.

Milwaukee County Assistant District Attorney Thomas Potter says over the next couple days he expects to interview at least a dozen people and read the police investigative reports about Monday's attack on Samuel McClain.

The condition of the 50-year-old man is improving at Froedtert Memorial Lutheran Hospital. McClain was attacked by as many as 15 youths who surrounded his car, pulled him from the vehicle and began beating and kicking him. McClain had honked his horn because the youths were congregated in the middle of the street.
