Motorhome Goes Up in Flames

Six lanes of traffic were shut down in lake hallie tonight after a motorhome driving on county road "o-o" just east of hwy 124 caught fire.
It broke out just before 7 p.m. at the intersection of OO and US 53, right across from WalMart. Fire crews say it took nearly a half hour to douse the flames. The Chippewa Valley Fire District deputy chief tells us the driver of the motorhome was taking it to an auction in the Twin Cities, but noticed the engine was having trouble. He got out of the motorhome as it started to burn. He wasn't hurt, but the motorhome is a loss.
