Wisconsin Rapids Man Missing After Visiting Estranged Wife
Divers searched a retention pond in southeastern Wisconsin for a Wisconsin Rapids man.
Germantown police say 58-year-old David Hopp disappeared after visiting the home of his estranged wife for the holidays.
He's been missing since early Friday morning.
Police say a ground search found signs of a hole in the ice of the pond, so divers were called in and did an extensive search yesterday. They found no sign of the missing man.
Authorities say Hopp left his car and his personal belongings at his wife's home.
The official search has been called off, at least for now.
