Mike Sherman isn't commenting yet on his firing as coach of the Green Bay Packers.
But the team says he'll be available to news media at 11:00 a-m Wednesday at Lambeau Field.
Packers general manager Ted Thompson fired Sherman Monday, and says it wasn't because of the team's disappointing four-and-12 record.
Thompson says he simply didn't think Sherman was the right person to carry the team into the future -- one that might not include Brett Favre.
Thompson says he hasn't discussed the decision with Favre. The three-time M-V-P is mulling retirement and has said he might be less willing to return if he had to learn a new offensive system and a new coaching staff.
