WI Mining Deaths

Six workers have been killed in Wisconsin's above ground mines since 1998 according to federal safety records.
State leaders say all of the incidents involved human errors.
Wisconsin's only underground mine Maiden Rock in Pierce county produces silica sand. Wisconsin has no coal mines.
