Funeral Crimes

The Wisconsin Chiefs of Police Association and the Wisconsin Funeral Directors Association are working to educate people about a crime trend.

While attending a funeral thieves will burglarize people's homes. While it's not a problem in the Chippewa Valley, local law enforcement and funeral homes hope to prevent any crimes through education.

Funeral homes will make people aware of the issue through a brochure which can be picked up at most funeral homes.
