The Eau Claire chapter of Wisconsin Right to Life sponsored the 2006 Rally For Life that took place at Sacred Heart Hospital.
This year marks the 33rd anniversary of the authorization of abortion by the supreme court and the organization hopes to educate people about the importance of life.
"Well, we're trying to encourage people to support anti-abortion, anti-euthanasia. We're opposed to embryonic stem cell research," said Wayne Laufenberg, president of the Eau Claire Chapter of Wisconsin Right to Life.
The bishop of the diocese of La Crosse was the featured speaker and described the characterization of pro-life and pro-choice.
"The whole tender of my talk is without life, you don't have choice. Life is the fundamental value," said Bishop Jerome Listecki.
The event also featured student speakers who are part of the growing youth movement for pro-life.
