Cranberry Blossom Days started Saturday in Warrens. The event is based on the pink blossoms of cranberry vines that historians say look like the heads of cranes, which is where the fruit got it's name, "crane berry," later changed to "cranberry."
This weekend, people can learn about Wisconsin’s number one fruit crop at the Cranberry Discovery Center in Warrens. On the menu at the festival are cranberry brats, cranberry cream puffs, and cranberry wine.
