Independent Candidate Bill Ingram was at Wilson Park in Menomonie Saturday to collect signatures for a spot on the Third Congressional District ballot for the House of Representatives.
Ingram says running for the House is a back-up in case he doesn't garner enough support for his presidential campaign.
The former police sergeant says his campaign is on schedule for the goals he set, and hopes to land a national television interview to bring in money.
Ingram says he wants to change the way Washington is run.
Ingram will be collecting signatures for the third congressional district at the Durand Bandshell at 2 p.m. Sunday.

I am not sure if you can change they way things are run, but I agree they need to be changed, and the candidates running now are all full of "Give the people what they want to hear" and teh same platforms every year, We need someone for the people not the Party they belong too! Good Luck to you! You got my vote

Well congrats to you Bill for giving it a shot. If you want things to change you need to do it yourself, if only more people would. Myself I will be voting for Bob Barr the Libertarian candidate for president.
