We now know the name of the 71-year-old man who died when his truck hit several trees in Sawyer County.
Deputies say William Cook of Stone Lake was driving north on Highways 27 and 70 near County Highway F just after 7pm Saturday.
That's when his truck apparently left the road. Deputies say he was thrown from the truck.
Cook died at the scene. He was not wearing a seat belt.
