Wisconsin Dells Area Resort Files For Bankruptcy
Owners Blame Soft Real Estate Markets & The Economy

The company that owns Northern Bay Golf Resort & Marina north of Wisconsin Dells has filed for bankruptcy restructuring.
Northern Bay says the filing will not impact operations at the resort, golf course or marina. Chief financial officer, Matthew Mootz, says the Chapter 11 bankruptcy filing is the result of the recent nationwide economic downturn and the soft real estate market.
Northern Bay is a hotel and condominium development with an 18-hole golf course. The development also includes a marina, clubhouse and restaurant, swimming pools and tennis courts.
