Globe University opened it’s doors today to a great student turnout. The school expected 75 students, but today 113 students showed up for the first day.

The Minnesota School of Business decided on Eau Claire as the place for it’s first Wisconsin branch.

Campus Director, Shana Weiss says the campus’s prices might not be completely comparable to CVTC and UW-Eau Claire, but the services they offer like mentorship, writing labs and small class sizes make the difference.

The school offers a diploma program, associates degrees, bachelors degrees and also and also an MBA program online. Weiss says the program is a hybrid so students can take some courses at a residential setting and some classes online.

Globe University offers full-time and part-time classes both in the classroom and online.
The campus has received a tremendous amount of community support, Weiss said. She says they are excited to make their mark in Wisconsin.
