The publisher of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel said today it will cut about 10 percent of its workforce.
That's about 130 full-time employees.
Ad revenue at the Journal Sentinel is down more than 12 percent below last year through May. The decline comes as the company struggles with rising newsprint and fuel costs.
About 50 positions were cut at the paper last October.
Last week, half a dozen newspapers across the country said they would slash payrolls, including deep staff cuts at The Hartford Courant and The Sun in Baltimore, two Tribune papers.
