With the start of Packers training camp less than four weeks away, is retired Green Bay quarterback Brett Favre having second thoughts about hanging up his cleats? ESPN's Chris Mortensen is reporting through an unnamed source that Brett Favre has "the itch to play again."
Favre has also indicated this "itch" to Packers head coach Mike McCarthy. Moretensen says Favre's long-time agent, Bus Cook is not aware of any developments involving Favre. Packers cornerback Al Harris was in studio today with Mortensen and confirmed the rumors that Brett may want to un-retire. Harris saying: "I've talked to Brett and I know he has the itch to come back to play. If he will or not, I don't know."
Favre announced during a March 6th newsconference in Green Bay that he was going to retire after a 17-year NFL career.
