Firefighters are baffled as to what caused shingles to blow off the roof of a house in Trempealeau County.
Firefighters say around 6:30 Wednesday night in Whitehall, people passing by the home saw the shingles blow off the roof. Another person called 911.
Firefighters examined the roof, but could not figure out what caused the shingles to blow off.
Chief Gary Thorson, with the pigeon falls fire department, says he's never seen anything like this before.
He says no one was hurt and no one was home at the time.
