UW-Madison Ranks Second in the Nation for Donations

Colleges and universities scored an all-time high for donations last year, and UW-Madison got the second most in the country.
The university received over $595 million, thanks to a $296 million grant for its medical school alone.
Benefactors gave more than $25 billion across the nation. The Council of Education says alumni and foundations were the most generous.
Stanford topped the national list with more than $603 million.
UW-Eau Claire ranked 11h in Wisconsin, receiving $3.8 million. Stout came in 14th with $1.8 million.
