It's called the lottery and gaming credit and anyone who owns the property they live on can get 30 to 35 cents on every $1 back from the lottery.
The credit goes towards property tax relief.
That averages out to about $100 a year, but the Eau Claire County Treasurer says many people miss out on the money because they don't sign up.
To find out if you have been getting the lottery tax credit or not, look at your tax bill and if there are zeros next to the lottery credit slot, then it's time to visit County Treasurer's Office.
Anyone who qualifies must sign up by Oct. 1.
