UW Eau Claire sophomore Shelly Piontek made the spin on the Wheel of Fortune in December, but her appearance finally aired Tuesday night.
"It was really exciting. What people don't know is the numerous auditions it takes to get on the show," Piontek said.
Piontek and friends held a viewing party in the dorms Tuesday night to celebrate her appearance, which went faster than she expected.
"It took 30-40 minutes to tape, but it felt like 10," shesaid.
Piontek spent four days in Fort Lauderdale, FL for her 'Wheel' experience.
She her experience was very enjoyable, even though she failed to win a round and wound up with $1,000 in consolation.
