A Buffalo County man says he couldn't get a Yahoo e-mail account with his own name because the letters “a-l-l-a-h” are a part of it.
Allah is the Arabic word for God and is in the middle of Ed Callahan's last name.
He says addresses with other religious words seemed OK, so he thought it was discrimination.
But, it's no longer an issue because Yahoo now allows use of the word.
After the policy change, Callahan promptly set up a new e-mail account, which includes his last name.
