Landscaping was a popular topic this year, with more people wanting to be more hands-on with the process.
People were also looking for new twists to the traditional greenery.
"With landscaping, people are looking more towards new plant material coming out, new perennials, things like that to give them the extra boost in their gardens,” said Patty Martin, landscape designer for Greenthumb Landscaping.
Outdoor decorations were also in high demand this year with many looking for unique ideas to enhance their gardens.
"Stepping stones with sayings on it is a big thing. But mostly it's been the fountains, the frogs, and the turtles that people seem to enjoy this year."
The event was sponsored by the Chippewa Valley Home Builders Association and featured 140 exhibitors and 10 seminars.
