Update:
A Chippewa Falls man is in jail Monday morning after police say he led them on a high speed chase in Eau Claire.
Officers say it was a routine traffic stop when they tried to pull 21-year-old Richard Roy over on Highway 93 and Golf Road Sunday.
Police say Roy was driving and five people were in the car.
When the car finally pulled over at 93 and Redwood Drive, officers say Roy jumped and ran.
Police and Sheriff's Deputies used a dog, and finally caught Roy two hours later.
Roy is also being held on several outstanding warrants.
He's due in court at 11a.m. Monday morning.
