More Employees Needed for New Jail
The Eau Claire Sheriff's Department says they need even more employees than first thought to run their new jail.

The Eau Claire County Sheriff's Department says it made a mistake when it calculated the number of people it needs to run the new jail.
Sheriff Ron Cramer says the department originally asked for 31 new employees to help current employees staff the new jail.
But after re-calculating, it realized it needs 37 ½ employees.
That will cost the county more money to run the jail, but won't change the cost to build it.
The new jail is expected to open in April of 2010.
