A La Crosse man who woke up at a party to find himself covered in syrup and oatmeal is facing crimminal charges. Travis Maassen is accused of confronting those allegedly responsible for the prank with a loaded rifle.
Police says Maassen, 20, threatened to put the muzzle of the gun into the mouth of the man who they say admitted to pulling the prank.
Witnesses told police they were trying to get even with Maassen for pranks he had pulled in the past. Police say he pointed the loaded rifle at the head of one of the witnesses, but Maassen was tackled by others. He is being held on a $5,000 cash bail, and is charged with second degree-reckless endangerment of safety while armed.
