Buses are traveling the country, stopping in communities to answer questions and help people enroll in prescription plans. In Eau Claire Wednesday morning, around 100 people attended a session at the L.E. Phillips Senior Center.
"Anytime a program like Medicare changes, it's the biggest change since the inception of the program since 1965, people get a lot of information and have questions, says Amy Hennessy, a Medicare specialist. "It's really important to us to provide an opportunity for folks to ask their questions to someone from the federal government."
If you weren't able to attend the session, call 1-800-medicare or go to the medicare website for assistance on deciding your plan.
