Company that shut down PF Papers files for bankruptcy

The specialty papers company which recently announced it's shutting down operations at a northern Wisconsin mill, has filed for chapter eleven bankruptcy protection.
SMART papers of Hamilton, Ohio, blames rising costs for energy, wood fiber and transportation.
The firm has announced its affiliate, PF Papers, will discontinue operations at its Park Falls pulp and papermaking facilities.
So far, 220 workers there have been laid off, and another 90 could soon lose their jobs.
