Tailgating, Chilly Temps, Windy Weather Mark Beginning Of Brewers Baseball

Tailgaters huddled around their grills Monday in the parking lot of Miller Park for the typically chilly Brewers' home opener.

Some fans had a lawn chair or two with a tiny grill. Others had more elaborate set-ups, with tents, tables and megagrills.

One fan even transported his couch, chairs and coffee table to set up his living room in the parking lot of Miller Park.

The enthusiasm of tailgaters looking for a successful baseball season isn't deterred by some raindrops, wind gusts of up to 45 miles an hour and temperatures in the 40s.

Fans know they can travel to Miller Park from around the state and know that because of the retractable roof, the opener won't be rained out.
