SoMo just a few months ago changed it's restrictions, keeping it at 3 animals total, but allowing 3 dogs or 3 cats. Before it was no more than 2 of each type of animal, up to 3. As a owner of 3 dogs (rescued) I can say that 3 *can* be too many. Of course it depends on the size and breed of the animal, but that said, it also depends on the quality of the owner. Are they responsible? Do they take care of their pets and make sure they are not bothering the neighbors. We try very hard to make sure we address the barking of our animals immediately. Dogs must be allowed to protect their home, but within reason when the owners ARE home. I think Brookfield will make the right choice for all, animals included.
