As officers say two people went to the hospital after a robbery at an area motel Thursday morning.

Police say the report came in just after 5 a.m. Thursday.

Officers say two brothers sharing a room at the Indianhead Motel on Summit Avenue in Chippewa Falls were getting ready for work.

That's when police say two black men went in the room and someone used a hard, pipe-like object to hit one of the brothers.

Someone hit the other brother with a similar object.

Officers say the suspects demanded money from the victims, then took the money and left.

The suspects are described as being about 25 years old, about six feet tall, with slender builds and shaved heads.

Please keep on top of this story. This type of crime is not typical for this area and we need to keep it that way. We need to show the criminals that they've gotta play by the rules if they want to be a part of our community.

I really hope the police make a thorough investigation and make an arrest. The innocent victims need justice.
