Man Taken Into Custody After City Hall Standoff In Pewaukee

A man who holed up in a Pewaukee City Hall restroom claiming to have an explosive device has been taken into custody.
Pewaukee police Capt. Daniel Meister says police negotiated with the man through the bathroom door and eventually arrested him.
Meister says he doesn't know yet whether the device the man was wearing was actually a bomb.
The Milwaukee County Sheriff's Department bomb squad is handling the device.
Waukesha County sheriff's tactical officers were among those responding to city hall, which was evacuated.
