A man who holed up in a city hall restroom in southern Wisconsin claiming to have an explosive device has been taken into custody.
Pewaukee Police Capt. Daniel Meister says police negotiated with the man through the bathroom door and eventually arrested him.
Meister says he doesn't know yet whether the device the man was wearing was actually a bomb.
The Milwaukee County Sheriff's Department bomb squad is handling the device. Waukesha County Sheriff's tactical officers were among those responding to City Hall, which was evacuated.
