St. Paul police detectives continue to investigate a violent attack of a 49-year-old woman near Lake Phalen.

St. Paul police detectives continue to investigate a violent attack of a 49-year-old woman near Lake Phalen.
The woman was walking around Phalen Lake early yesterday morning when she was approached by a group of men who said nothing, but started beating her with baseball bats.
After the woman was knocked to the ground, they took a set of head phones and fled the area.
St. Paul police say their homicide and Asian gang units are aggressively working to identify the suspects.
The victim says her hands were broken in many places and a finger was severed off in the attack
