If you notice a drop in your water pressure or a discoloration in your tap water, don't be alarmed.
The Department of Public Utilities is in the process of cleaning the water mains in Chippewa Falls.
If you see a discoloration in your tap water, the department suggests letting your cold water run for a while until it becomes colorless.
The department also suggests washing laundry and dishes between 6pm and 7am, since no work will be done during that time.
