McCarthy Press Conference Canceled
McCarthy and Favre meeting lasted for 5 hours, so the press conference was canceled

A McCarthy press conference that was scheduled for 8:00 Monday night was canceled. As dozens of local media gathered for an update on Favre's return, the team's P.R. director made the announcement that the coach and former quarterback hadn't yet come to a decision. He says another press conference is scheduled for Tuesday.
Favre's reinstatement took effect Monday, but what position he'll take is still up in the air. McCarthy says there have been no promises.
