First of all I do wish Favre the best. I know he is the best. For all you people saying us Packer fans aren't fans because Favre has left. What do you know? You mark my words Rogers will be out of the season before it really gets started. Thompsom brought him here three years ago he played once the second year and broke his leg. Last year he played and I don't know what happen but again he had an injury. Farve as I know him never once said he wanted to retire. For the past three years the media has been throwing that message out to the public. So what if he said he wanted to come back. Alot of people retire and then want to go back to work and not just in the sports world. I bet everyone of you could name a friend etc that has retired and then went out and got another job. All my best of wishes are with Favre in his new New York Jets uniform. I am sure he will make New York proud of him.

I think the whole problem started a couple of years ago. I don't think that Brett and coach McCarthy got along at all and I think the coach did push and prod until Brett go sick of it.

Get over it. Enough of Brett Favre. Most people I know, and that is way more than 50% of them could care less! Brett plays for the NY Jets now, let him fade into history where he belongs. I would rather watch a soap.

Why would ANYONE consider this more important than the REAL news on NBC Nightly News or for that matter rhe REAL news on Newscenter 13 at 5:00 or 6:00? Why is this considered a BIG news story? Who Cares? Why do the Packers have to occupy headline status every day of the year? Very few if any newscasts pass without Packer news and they only play in the fall & early winter!

If you are a true Packer or football fan you would understand the need to listen to Brett Farve and/or the Packer developments. If not then watch the soaps where you belong. An era is over and for all the Brett fans, we are truely sad, however we will support Rodgers, thats what we do!

Glad the Jets got him, let somebody else put up with the "Drama Queen".

Get with the times and t-vo your soaps and watch it later! And, I beg to differ..not half the people home right now would rather watch the soaps than the latest GB\Favre developments...maybe a few but certainly not half. What do you do when Wimbledon, Olympics, etc. are on??

Posted by: Annonomous Location: Wisconsin on Aug 7, 2008 at 12:38 PM
What is this?? Half the people sitting at home at this very moment want to watch their soap operas! Not listen to these guys talk OVER & OVER & OVER repeating themselves. WE DON'T CARE! Bret Farve is not playing for the packers anymore. That's That. Put the soap on. We DON'T CARE.

I tried to listen to the live stream of the Favre News conference. We could hear only the answers not the questions. Therefore it does not pay to listen. The Packer organization should correct this.
