Officers say they caught two men suspected of burglarizing at least a half dozen area businesses.
The Jackson County Sheriff's Department says detective Tim Nichols heard 23-year-old Dustin Baskin and 22-year-old Corey Sprinkle were in a vehicle in Jackson County.
That's when officers arrested them.
Both are in jail ahead of a scheduled court appearance.
A third suspect is being held in Dane County on a probation hold.
On July 8th, officers say they responded to burglaries at six businesses in Alma Center.
Deputies say someone took cash in most of the instances.
