Hybrid Drivers Could be Eligible for Tax Credit

Some of you who are waiting until the very last day to file your taxes could qualify for more than $3,000 in credit because of the car you drive.

A few Fords and Toyotas are recognized by the IRS, and qualify for the hybrid tax credit.

It's a part of the Federal Energy Policy Act of 2005 for hybrids placed in service after December 31st of that year.

There are also some Hondas awaiting recognition.
