Tax Day Monday

The Wisconsin Department of Revenue says of the more than two million people who have already filed, two-thirds have done so electronically.

For the estimated half a million residents that have yet to file, the post office is fully staffed, ready to provide the 4-17 postmark for the last minute filers.

"Our window hours, today they're normal window hours, but we still have service available such as at our contract stations for those folks that are getting postage at the last minute or needing postage at the last minute," says post master Larry Bock.

The lobby of the Barstow office will be open until eight, but for those pushing the envelope, the box on Hogarth Street near the postal processing plant will pick-up at midnight tonight.
