State officials say the Marshfield intersection where a Catholic priest from Wausau died will get stoplights.
The Department of Transportation says the intersection of Highways ten, 13 and County Highway"A" need the traffic signals because of an increased volume of traffic, including the truck traffic entering and leaving an adjacent industrial park.
The Reverend Stephen Gross of Wausau was killed March 10th. The car driven by a church deacon went through the intersection and was hit by a truck.
The priest died, and the driver and another passenger were hospitalized with injuries.
Records show there have been about 70 crashes resulting in injuries, including two fatalities, at the intersection since the start of 1999.
