(WEAU) -- A cool start to the day most areas seeing early moring temps. in the lowers 60s and upper 50s. Winds will be light from the southeast. Mostly clear skies but we may see some clouds build later on today. Overall very comfortable weather this morning.
Again today we'll see some sun early on. The flow has been from the southeast the last few days keeping the dew points in the comfortable range. They may begin to creep up later tomorrow, out ahead of the next front. The winds will switch directions and come from the west during the afternoon and bring a little more moisture but overall, humidity will remain in check. I expect clouds will begin to increase by later in the afternoon out ahead of the next cold front. Highs will again be in the lower to mid 80s across western Wisconsin. The front will be on the weaker side, but should be enough to produce at least scattered showers and thunderstorms. These will arrive later in the evening and night, continuing into at least the first part of Monday. This is good news and all of the weekend outdoor activities local towns and organizations have planned should remain dry.
Overall rainfall amounts will likely not be significant, but given the dry weather of late, anything we get will be welcome. A slight cool down can then be expected into the early part of next week as well as dry conditions. For next weekend we'll be watching another system that could bring more rain chances later on.
